Chicago area web designer since 2001. Nathan Taylor has a formal graphic design background along with professional experience in the area of website design, print design, and instructional design. Nathan has experience working with both large and small professional websites and has developed search engine optimization (SEO) skills as well as website analytics.

Nathan graduated from Northern Illinois University with a bachelors degree in Visual Communications (or otherwise known as Graphic Design), in 2002. Nathan was awarded the top honor in his class in 2000, being awarded the Lydon and Associates Design scholarship and internship. It was at this internship that Nathan learned from top notch marketing and design professionals and honed his design and business skills.

After the internship, Nathan worked at a publishing company, juggling three magazine related websites and learned how to manage the day to day operations of the very time sensitive needs of a high paced publishing company. Deadlines were tight, goals were ambitious, and the standards of great design were high. Nathan learned from an award winning design department.

Eager to learn new skills in a new environment, Nathan began work at the pharmacy and retail giant, Walgreen Co. There, Nathan spearheaded the design and development of a continuing pharmacy education website and Learning Management System (LMS). Nathan was responsible for all aspects of the LMS design and functionality, and the website was launched in 2006.

In 2014, Nathan made a shift in his career by joining the Learning and Development team in Walgreens. As as senior learning specialist, Nathan is responsible for all aspects of design and development, ensuring efficiency and effectiveness in Walgreens learning and development initiatives.
